Made from 100% Chardonnay and aged in new barriques, it brings together ripe fruit, texture, and a distinctly refined character rooted in the Maculan family’s winemaking tradition since 1946.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with green reflections, hinting at its freshness despite the wine’s full-bodied style. The bouquet is expressive and layered, with notes of ripe grapes, tropical fruit, saffron, and peach. On the palate, it is dry, generous, and well balanced, combining tropical fruit, citrus, and a subtle touch of mint. The barrique aging adds roundness and complexity, while the finish is notably long and satisfying. It should drink beautifully now, with enough structure to evolve gracefully over the next few years.

Produced in Veneto from 100% Chardonnay, Ferrata reflects Maculan’s careful approach to crafting whites with richness and finesse. Fermentation and aging take place in new barriques over five months, a method that contributes body, texture, and aromatic complexity while preserving the wine’s freshness and balance.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay pairs well with rich seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes, grilled lobster, and mildly aged cheeses. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C to best appreciate its aromatic range and texture. Decanting is not necessary, though a short time in the glass can help the wine open up beautifully.
