Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with youthful intensity. The nose is generous and precise, opening with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, and a touch of violet, with subtle notes of tobacco and spice developing with time in the glass. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with firm but refined tannins, vibrant dark fruit, and the mineral, savory edge typical of Pauillac. There is excellent freshness running through the wine, giving balance to the richness and suggesting strong aging potential over the next two decades or more.

Production
Lynch-Bages comes from gravelly Pauillac soils that encourage excellent drainage and help Cabernet Sauvignon reach full ripeness while preserving structure and freshness. The vintage was harvested plot by plot to capture optimal maturity, with vinification carried out separately for precision and balance before blending the final cuvée.

Food & Serving
This is an ideal match for classic Bordeaux fare such as roast lamb, beef Wellington, ribeye, duck breast, or hard aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if enjoying young to allow the wine to open fully.
