Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby-purple color that hints at its concentration and youth. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, pencil shavings, violets, and subtle hints of spice and graphite. On the palate, it is dense and structured, yet refined, with firm tannins wrapped around ripe dark fruit, savoury oak, and classic Pauillac minerality. The finish is long and persistent, marked by freshness and precision. While already impressive in its youth, this vintage has excellent aging potential and should evolve beautifully over the next two decades or more.

Production
Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Lynch-Bages draws its character from gravel-rich soils that provide excellent drainage and encourage Cabernet Sauvignon to fully ripen. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot is carefully harvested and vinified to preserve purity of fruit, structure, and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
This wine is a natural match for premium red meats such as ribeye, beef tenderloin, lamb, and game, as well as dishes with earthy sauces, truffle, or mushrooms. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine to open fully.
