Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, intense pale straw-yellow color. The nose is floral and finely detailed, with aromas of violet, honey, and nougat layered over fresh white fruit and a gentle mineral edge. On the palate, the wine is supple and well balanced, with juicy ripe fruit, hints of melted butter and delicate pastry notes adding depth and roundness. The finish is long, savory, and lightly iodized, giving it both tension and a distinctive Bourgogne character. It has the structure and balance to age gracefully for around 5 to 10 years.

Production
Produced in Mâcon-Bussières in the heart of Burgundy’s Mâconnais, this Chardonnay comes from vineyards shaped by a terroir that favors aromatic clarity, ripeness, and mineral finesse. The vinification is designed to preserve fruit purity and expression, with the main part of the wine fermented and raised in stainless steel, while select parcels are matured in large 60-hectolitre oak vats to add texture and structure without overpowering the wine’s freshness.

Food & Serving
This is a highly versatile white wine for the table. It pairs beautifully with shellfish, seafood, creamy fish dishes, and mild or semi-aged cheeses, especially where buttery sauces or delicate textures are involved. Serve it at 10–12 °C, and decanting is not necessary unless the wine is showing particularly closed in its youth.
