In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby colour with a vibrant youthful edge. The nose leans toward blackcurrant, ripe plum, cedar, graphite, and subtle floral nuances, with hints of spice and toasted oak adding complexity. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied with supple tannins, fresh acidity, and a smooth, well-balanced core of dark fruit. While already enjoyable for its generous fruit and polished texture, it should also develop nicely over the next several years, gaining more savoury complexity and integration with time.

Sourced from vineyards in Saint-Julien on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the wine benefits from the appellation’s well-drained gravel soils, which help produce wines with finesse, structure, and freshness.
