Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine typically shows a deep ruby colour with a polished, youthful edge. The nose is expected to open with blackcurrant, cedar, graphite and dark cherry, layered with subtle spice, tobacco and floral accents. On the palate, it is usually medium-bodied but firm and finely built, with ripe cassis, plum and red berry fruit supported by fresh acidity and refined tannins. The finish should be long and savory, with the structure to age gracefully for many years and gain further complexity over time.

Production
Made in Saint-Julien on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, the wine comes from gravelly soils well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc adding softness and aromatic lift. The grapes are harvested by parcel and vinified with care to preserve purity, balance and the estate’s traditional character, followed by maturation in oak barrels to build texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, game birds and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for 1-2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
