Crafted by Cantine Leonardo da Vinci as a tribute to the hills and heritage of Tuscany, it offers the warmth, elegance, and food-friendly appeal that make Chianti Riserva such a beloved category.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep purple-red colour with vivid, intense reflections. The nose is immediately inviting, with ripe cherry at the forefront, followed by gentle layers of vanilla and cinnamon from oak ageing. On the palate, the wine echoes those fruit-and-spice aromas with a rounded, balanced profile and soft tannins that give the wine a smooth texture. The finish is long and persistent, suggesting good development potential over the next few years while remaining approachable in its youth.

Production
The grapes are sourced from the rolling hill areas around Vinci, Cerreto Guidi, and nearby towns in Tuscany, where the landscape and climate help preserve freshness while allowing full ripeness. The blend is led by 85% Sangiovese, complemented by 10% Merlot, and the wine is aged for 10 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels to add spice, structure, and subtle complexity.

Food & Serving
This Chianti Riserva is a natural match for Tuscan cuisine, including roasted meats, grilled lamb, pasta with rich tomato-based sauces, aged pecorino, and mushroom dishes. Serve it at around 16–18°C; decanting for about 30 minutes is recommended to open up the bouquet and soften the wine further.
