Le Marchesine Franciacorta Brigantia Brut Satèn Millesimato is a refined expression of 100% Chardonnay from one of Italy’s most admired sparkling wine regions. Crafted in Franciacorta DOCG and aged extensively on the lees, it combines elegance, depth, and a distinctly silky Satèn character with the hallmark finesse that has made Le Marchesine a benchmark producer in Lombardy.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color with golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is delicate and inviting, with aromas of ripe plums, white flowers, and subtle mineral notes that add lift and precision. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet beautifully balanced, with a pleasant saline edge that blends harmoniously into the wine’s creamy texture. The finish is elegant and lightly mineral, supported by freshness and structure. Thanks to its long bottle aging, it has the concentration and balance to develop gracefully over time, though it is already very expressive now.

Production
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested in small boxes to preserve fruit quality, then undergo a very slow and gentle pressing of whole clusters. Fermentation and maturation take place in small Allier oak barrels, adding complexity and polish before the wine enters its secondary fermentation in bottle. The bottles are then aged for at least 36 months in temperature-controlled cellars at 12–14°C, allowing the Satèn style to develop its signature softness and fine mousse.

Food & Serving
This Franciacorta is an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, sushi, delicate risottos, white fish, and light poultry dishes. It also works beautifully with creamy cheeses or refined antipasti. Serve chilled at 6–8°C, and decanting is not necessary; simply open and enjoy at the table.
