Production
Lafite Rothschild is located in Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, where gravelly soils and excellent drainage provide ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon-led blends. The vineyard’s terroir is strongly influenced by its proximity to the Gironde estuary, helping moderate temperatures and preserve freshness in the grapes. Careful parcel selection and traditional Bordeaux vinification are used to express purity, structure and site character in every vintage.

This wine pairs beautifully with classic dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, venison and truffle-based preparations. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening in its youth, as this can help the wine open up and show its full aromatic complexity.
