Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby core with youthful brilliance and subtle garnet reflections. The nose is layered and poised, unfolding with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violet, and a fine mineral note, alongside hints of tobacco, spice, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is structured yet supple, with concentrated dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a long, composed finish. The balance between freshness, depth, and precision suggests excellent aging potential, and it should continue to evolve beautifully over several decades under ideal cellar conditions.

Production
Produced in Pauillac on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, the wine comes from gravelly, well-drained soils that favor Cabernet Sauvignon and help build the wine’s trademark structure and aromatic clarity. The blend also includes Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, adding roundness, complexity, and depth. Vinification follows careful parcel selection and precise cellar work to preserve the purity of fruit, while élevage in oak adds finesse and complexity without overshadowing the wine’s character.

Food & Serving
This is a wine for refined dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game, or truffle-infused preparations. It also pairs beautifully with mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for one to two hours when young to allow the bouquet and structure to open fully.
