Ladoro Vendemmia Tardiva 2016 is a distinctive Sicilian dessert wine from De Liella, made at 420 meters above sea level near Caltanisetta. Produced by the fourth-generation De Caro family, it reflects both a long family tradition and a strong commitment to organic, sustainable farming.

Production
The estate lies in the heart of Sicily, where the higher altitude and inland location help preserve freshness in the grapes while allowing for full ripeness. De Liella has been farmed organically for more than 10 years, with sustainable methods applied across both the wines and the estate’s other agricultural products. As a late-harvest wine, Ladoro Vendemmia Tardiva is made from grapes left on the vine longer to concentrate natural sugars and flavor, resulting in a more expressive, dessert-style wine.

Food & Serving
This wine is well suited to desserts such as almond pastries, fruit tarts, panna cotta, or blue cheese, and can also be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative finish to a meal. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to keep the sweetness balanced and the aromatics fresh. Decanting is generally not necessary.

De Liella is a family-run estate in central Sicily, managed by the De Caro family for four generations.
