Description

La Taille aux Loups Clos de Mosny is a single-vineyard dry Chenin Blanc from Montlouis-sur-Loire, an appellation renowned for expressive Loire whites. Chenin has been established here since at least the 9th century, and the estate continues a tradition shaped by the late Jacky Blot.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C. Its dry Chenin Blanc style should suit seafood, grilled white fish, roast poultry and goat’s cheese. Decanting is not essential; a short time in the glass can help the wine open up.

Producer
Domaine de la Taille aux Loups was led by Jacky Blot, a highly regarded interpreter of Chenin Blanc who died in May 2023. His son has since taken over, maintaining the estate’s stylistic continuity and high quality ambitions. The domaine is based in Montlouis-sur-Loire, across the river from the neighbouring appellation of Vouvray.
