Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a translucent ruby-garnet colour with the elegance Nebbiolo is known for. The nose is layered and lifted, with aromas of rose petal, red cherry, wild berries, and subtle spice, often underscored by earthy and mineral nuances. On the palate, expect fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and a graceful balance of ripe red fruit, floral notes, and savoury depth. This is a wine built for development, and while the 2023 vintage should already show charm in youth, it is likely to reward several years of cellaring as it gains complexity and harmony.

Production
The Starderi vineyard lies in the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont, where limestone-rich soils and the area’s temperate continental climate give Nebbiolo its hallmark perfume and structure.
