Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a vibrant, polished character with a deeply colored ruby hue. The nose is lifted and generous, offering dark cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, lavender, baking spice, forest floor, and a subtle touch of vanilla from oak aging. On the palate, it is fuller and more structured than many Russian River Pinots, with ripe red and dark berry fruit wrapped around fresh, supporting tannins. The wine feels energetic and layered, with enough depth to age gracefully for several years, gaining more savory complexity over time.

Production
The fruit comes from a broad selection of premium Russian River Valley vineyards, where the cool coastal influence and varied soils help produce Pinot Noir with ripeness, freshness, and aromatic detail. A small portion of whole clusters is included in fermentation, and the juice is fermented in open stainless-steel tanks before spending 15 months in French oak barrels, 30% of them new, to add texture, spice, and refinement.

This is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with roast duck, herb-crusted chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, or pork tenderloin. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider a brief decant of 20–30 minutes to let the aromatics fully open.
