Description

A magnum of Riesling from Morstein, one of Westhofen’s renowned vineyard sites, presented as a VDP.Großes Gewächs. The vineyard’s Riesling planting followed the replanting of an old Scheurebe parcel; its 2022 wine was admitted as a Großes Gewächs after only its second harvest, marking a notable addition to Groebe’s range.

The wine is associated with a core parcel in the Morstein vineyard that was replanted from Scheurebe to Riesling after the old vines’ yields became very low. The supplied information does not specify the 2024 harvest, vinification or élevage.
