Kettmeir Alto Adige Pinot Grigio is a fresh, elegant white wine that captures the cool-climate precision of Alto Adige. Made from 100% Pinot Grigio, it combines lively freshness, mineral character, and a refined structure that makes it an easy choice for both everyday drinking and more special occasions.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright pale straw-yellow color. The nose is expressive and inviting, with aromas of pear and ripe apple at the forefront, lifted by floral tones and a clean citrus edge. On the palate, the wine is dynamic and energetic, with crisp freshness leading the way. A subtle saline note adds depth and tension, while the finish turns toward light tropical nuances. Its balance and clarity give it immediate appeal, though it is best enjoyed for its youthful vibrancy rather than long aging.

Production
The grapes come from Alto Adige, where the mountain-influenced climate and mineral-rich soils help preserve acidity and shape the wine’s clean, refined profile. The fruit is hand-harvested at full ripeness and gently pressed to avoid extracting the copper-colored pigments naturally present in the grape skins. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures of 17–18°C to preserve the wine’s delicate aromatics and freshness.

This Pinot Grigio is a versatile partner for light starters, seafood, shellfish, grilled white fish, fresh salads, and vegetarian dishes with herbs or citrus. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C. Decanting is not necessary.
