Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby color with excellent brightness. The nose leans toward classic Margaux character: blackcurrant, ripe plum, violets, cedar, and subtle spice, with a hint of graphite and floral lift. On the palate, the wine is usually polished and precise, balancing ripe dark fruit with fine tannins and fresh acidity. The texture is supple yet persistent, suggesting very good aging potential, with 10–20 years or more depending on storage and provenance.

Food & Serving
Excellent with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine’s aromatic layers and tannins to open.
