Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic depth and brightness expected from great Brunello, with aromas of crushed sour cherries, dried violets, cedar, and a subtle thread of incense and spice. The bouquet is layered and refined, with a graceful, almost ethereal perfume that continues to open with time. On the palate, the wine is silky and seamless, yet impressively concentrated. Wild strawberry, raspberry sauce, and a tangy citrus edge run through the wine, framed by firm, precise tannins and a vivid mineral streak. It has excellent aging potential and will reward patience over many years, developing even greater nuance and depth in bottle.
