Description

Il Marroneto’s 2019 Brunello di Montalcino stands out for its vivid Sangiovese character, striking intensity and finely textured tannins. Presented in magnum, it follows Montalcino’s long tradition of expressing Sangiovese with depth and freshness.

Tasting Notes
The bouquet rises with lifted aromas of fresh cherry, strawberry tart, lilac and old-fashioned rose. On the palate, bright fruit takes centre stage, supported by exceptionally fine, powdery tannins and a freshness that gives the wine impressive energy and definition. Its balance of concentration and freshness should allow it to develop gracefully in the cellar. Enjoy it now after careful aeration, or give it several years to reveal greater complexity.

Production
