Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark color that hints at its concentration and intensity. The nose is captivating and layered, with dark and red berries, crème de cassis, cocoa powder, white flowers, cedar, espresso, and pipe tobacco. On the palate, it is dense, velvety, and incredibly seductive, with dark and red fruit expressed in beautifully polished form. The finish is remarkably long and impressive, and while it is already compelling, it has the structure and depth to evolve beautifully over the next several years.

Production
Kayli Morgan Vineyard enjoys an ideal Napa Valley terroir at the base of Mount Howell in St. Helena, where the site’s conditions help produce Cabernet Sauvignon of exceptional ripeness and balance. Harvesting and sorting are done entirely by hand, ensuring only the best fruit makes it into the wine. It is aged for up to 30 months in specially selected new French oak barrels made from the finest quality wood, with only the middle section of the oak used and seasoned for three years before barrel construction.

Food & Serving
This is a magnificent match for premium beef, grilled ribeye, lamb, venison, truffle dishes, or richly prepared game. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended to allow the wine to open up and show its full aromatic complexity. It is also an excellent choice for cellaring if you prefer to enjoy it at its peak after a few years in bottle.
