Bright medium red in the glass, with ripe aromas of raspberry, spice, and smoky, crushed-stone minerality. The bouquet is pure and expressive, hinting at both red fruit brightness and a subtle earthy complexity. On the palate, it is silky on entry, then becomes savory and increasingly intense through the middle, with a fine-grained texture and a firm tannic backbone. The finish is long, mineral, and focused rather than heavy, giving the wine a sense of lift and tension. While already appealing now, it should gain further complexity and harmony with a few years of cellaring.

Today the estate is run by Hubert and Laurent Lignier, who oversee around nine hectares across Bourgogne, village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru levels, producing wines noted for depth, structure, and aging potential. The domaine has long been regarded as one of the benchmark producers in Morey-Saint-Denis, with a style that balances traditional craftsmanship with precision and elegance.
