Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a warm amber-gold colour with a polished, inviting brightness. The nose opens with honey, dried fruit, sweet malt, and soft peat smoke, followed by subtle hints of citrus peel, vanilla, and heather. On the palate, it is rounded and layered, with notes of barley sugar, toasted spice, orange zest, oak, and earthy smoke unfolding in good harmony. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving traces of sweet peat, nutty malt, and gentle warming spice. It has strong immediate appeal, though its depth and structure also suggest excellent ageing character in bottle.

Produced on the Orkney Islands, where the cool maritime climate helps slow maturation and preserve freshness, Highland Park 15 Y.O. is shaped by a distinctive island terroir. The whisky is traditionally made with locally influenced character in mind, balancing lightly peated spirit with the depth contributed by oak maturation, including sherry-seasoned casks that add richness and complexity.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to open up its smoky sweetness and spice. It pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, roasted game, mature cheddar, or dark chocolate desserts, and should ideally be served at room temperature. Decanting is not necessary, but allowing it to rest in the glass for a few minutes can enhance the aromatics.
