Tasting Notes
Expect a warm amber-gold colour in the glass. On the nose, this whisky typically opens with honeyed malt, dried fruit, gentle peat smoke, and soft spice, with subtle hints of maritime air and heather. On the palate, it is usually rounded and layered, combining sweet malt, orange peel, vanilla, oak spice, and earthy smoke in a smooth, well-integrated style. The finish tends to be medium to long, with lingering warmth, light peat, and a whisper of salt and spice. With its maturity, it should have good drinking appeal now, while still offering enough structure to reward a thoughtful pour over time.
