Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a rich amber-gold colour. The nose opens with heather honey, orange peel, warm spice, and a soft wave of aromatic smoke, followed by hints of dried fruit, vanilla, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is smooth and layered, with malt sweetness, sherried richness, subtle peat, and notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, and citrus zest. The finish is long and refined, with lingering smoke, spice, and a pleasantly dry oak note. It has excellent immediate appeal, though it will continue to hold well in bottle for years after purchase.
