Description

Henriot Brut Souverain is a refined expression of classic Champagne, combining Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in a style that is both elegant and approachable. Known for its balance, finesse, and creamy texture, it reflects the house’s long-standing commitment to precision and freshness.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright golden color with a lively, fine bead. The nose opens with fresh citrus, white flowers, green apple, and delicate brioche notes, supported by a subtle mineral edge. On the palate, it is crisp and harmonious, with lively acidity, ripe orchard fruit, and a softly rounded mousse. The finish is clean and persistent, with enough structure to suggest good short- to medium-term aging potential, while remaining immediately enjoyable.

Production
Produced in Champagne, France, from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Henriot Brut Souverain is shaped by the region’s chalky soils and cool climate, which help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The grapes are typically harvested by hand, and the wine is vinified with care to maintain purity, balance, and the house style of elegance and tension.

Food & Serving
This Champagne is an excellent companion to oysters, shellfish, sushi, light poultry dishes, and creamy soft cheeses. Serve well chilled at 8-10°C, and decanting is not recommended; simply open shortly before serving to preserve its lively mousse and freshness.

Producer
Maison Henriot is one of Champagne’s respected family houses, with origins dating back to the late 18th century. The producer is known for crafting elegant, Chardonnay-driven Champagnes with a distinctive sense of refinement, and has earned a strong reputation for consistency and quality in the region.

A classic, Chardonnay-led Champagne from historic house Henriot. Brut Souverain combines citrus, green apple and white peach with brioche, toasted hazelnut and chalky minerality. Fresh yet beautifully layered, its fine mousse and elegant, saline finish make it a benchmark non-vintage Champagne for aperitifs and the table.

Henriot is a rarity in the region!!!

An independent Champagne house since 1808. A classic interpretation of NV Champagne. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, complemented by Pinot Meunier. Aged for 3 years on the lees. Fresh, yet with depth and a pleasantly clean finish. Well-balanced and creamy on the palate.
