Henriot Brut Champagne Millésime 2008 Magnum is a distinguished vintage Champagne made only in exceptional years, combining the finesse of Chardonnay with the structure of Pinot Noir. This magnum format adds extra prestige and helps preserve the wine’s elegance, while the 2008 vintage also marked Champagne Henriot’s 200th anniversary, giving it added historical significance.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear golden color with a very fine, persistent bead, a sign of long cellar aging. The nose is lifted and expressive, with spring-like freshness, citrus fruit, and white flowers leading into subtle notes of peach and nectarine. On the palate, it is both rich and precise: vibrant citrus and floral tones are carried by a creamy, silky texture and a strong mineral backbone. The finish is long, refined, and beautifully smooth, with the structure to evolve gracefully over time.

Production
This vintage cuvée is crafted from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne. The focus on top-tier vineyard sites provides purity, depth, and balance, while the long aging in cellar contributes to its fine mousse, complexity, and polished texture.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, ideally at 8–10°C, to highlight its freshness and detail. It pairs especially well with oysters, scallops, lobster, sashimi, roasted chicken, or delicate dishes with citrus and cream, and decanting is not necessary.
