Sourced from a small parcel in the Aux Corvées climat, it reflects both the historic character of Burgundy and the finesse of thoughtful, low-intervention winemaking.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color. The nose is vivid and expressive, with floral lift, fresh red berries, a subtle peppery nuance, and a distinct mineral edge. The palate is pure and linear, with a firm tannin frame, lively acidity, and a precise, mineral-driven finish. It is generous and approachable in youth, yet has the structure and balance to evolve beautifully over 5 to 10 years, gaining complexity and depth with time.

Production
This cuvée comes from a small, elevated parcel in the Aux Corvées climat, where the stony, chalk-rich soils lend the wine its tension and mineral character. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with gentle whole-cluster fermentation and natural yeast in open concrete vats. After maceration, the wine is aged for up to 18 months in traditional Burgundian oak barrels, moved only by gravity, and bottled without fining or filtration to preserve its full structure and authenticity.

Food & Serving
A superb match for fine meat dishes, mushroom-based recipes, roasted poultry, and mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30 to 60 minutes if drinking young to allow the aromatics and texture to open fully.
