Sourced from a historic single vineyard and crafted in limited quantities, it combines Alpine freshness, subtle oak refinement, and a distinctly territorial character that has made this cuvée a benchmark in the region since 1986.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with green reflections, hinting at its freshness and vitality. The nose is clean and focused, with aromas of golden apple and delicate notes of fresh bread crust, giving it a refined, inviting profile. On the palate, the wine is crisp, savory, and beautifully balanced, with subtle layers of licorice, acacia honey, and wormwood unfolding over a lively acidic backbone. The finish is harmonious and persistent, with enough structure to suggest it can age gracefully for a few years while maintaining its aromatic precision.

Production
The grapes come from the Hausmannhof estate in Pochi di Salorno, where the vines grow on limestone-clay soils that lend the wine its clarity and structural definition. The vineyard is trained using a modified pergola system, and yields are kept deliberately low to ensure excellent concentration and varietal purity. Harvest takes place in mid-September, when the fruit has reached optimal balance between ripeness and freshness. Vinification is carried out partly in stainless steel and partly in small barrels, allowing the wine to retain its bright fruit character while gaining a subtle roundness and texture from oak maturation.

Food & Serving
This Chardonnay is excellent as an aperitif and pairs naturally with light starters, fish dishes, shellfish, poultry, and veal. Serve it chilled, ideally at 10–12°C, to preserve its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a brief aeration can help if served very young.
