Production
The grapes for Gustavshof Zero Alkoholfri come from biodynamically farmed vineyards in Rheinhessen, where limestone-rich soils and a mild, sunny climate help develop aromatic, well-balanced fruit. The vines are cultivated according to Demeter guidelines, with a strong focus on soil life, biodiversity and closed nutrient cycles. Harvest is typically done at optimal ripeness to ensure good flavour concentration and natural acidity, often with selective handpicking for quality. The base wine is vinified gently in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve primary fruit and freshness. Alcohol is then carefully removed using a modern, low-temperature process (such as vacuum distillation or similar gentle technology) that retains as much aroma and structure as possible, before the wine is finely adjusted and bottled to deliver a harmonious, alcohol-free expression.
