Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a vivid ruby-red color with youthful brilliance. The nose is inviting and expressive, with aromas of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, violet, and a subtle herbal or spicy edge that reflects its Sicilian origins. On the palate, it is usually medium-bodied and supple, with juicy red fruit, lively acidity, and smooth tannins that give the wine both energy and shape. Serve it slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and decanting is not usually necessary, though a short aeration can help if the wine is very young.
