Production
Produced in Saint-Julien on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Gruaud Larose benefits from gravelly soils that naturally favor Cabernet Sauvignon and help produce wines with both concentration and finesse. This is an excellent match for roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, ribeye, duck breast, game birds, and dishes with mushrooms or truffle. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young to allow the aromatics and tannins to open fully.
