Girlan Pinot Bianco is a fresh, refined Alto Adige white wine that captures both the elegance of Pinot Bianco and the cool-climate precision of its mountain terroir. Produced by Girlan, a historic winery founded in 1923, it offers a beautifully delicate expression with alpine freshness and mineral lift.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow in the glass, it shows a bright, clean appearance that hints at its crisp character. The nose is lifted and delicate, with subtle apple blossom aromas leading the way. On the palate, it is lively, refreshing, and finely balanced, with a gentle mineral edge and a charmingly drinkable style. Its fresh structure suggests good enjoyment in the near term, while the built-in acidity should help it stay vibrant for a few years.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards planted at 450 to 500 meters above sea level in Alto Adige, where mineral-rich soils formed by glacial sediments give the wine its distinct clarity and tension. The fruit is harvested by hand, then gently pressed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It is aged on the lees in stainless steel, which adds texture and depth while preserving the wine’s fresh, varietal character.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for light starters, fresh salads, white fish, seafood, and simple poultry dishes, as well as mild cheeses and vegetable-based cuisine. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C, and decanting is not necessary—just open and enjoy its bright, immediate charm.
