Girlan Gewurztraminer Aime is a beautifully expressive Alto Adige white that captures the variety’s signature perfume and the elegance of one of Italy’s most respected mountain wine regions. Sourced from the finest growing areas of Oltradige and Bassa Atesina, it offers a vivid, aromatic style shaped by Girlan’s long tradition of quality winemaking since 1923.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic golden-straw hue typical of Gewürztraminer, with a bright, luminous appearance. The nose is intensely aromatic, offering layers of floral notes, exotic fruit, and the variety’s unmistakable spicy character. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet supple, with a soft texture and generous flavor intensity. The wine balances richness with freshness, making it approachable now while still having the structure to hold up nicely over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from selected vineyard sites in Oltradige and Bassa Atesina, areas known for their ideal conditions for aromatic white grapes in Trentino-Alto Adige. Harvesting is done by hand in small containers to preserve fruit integrity, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is then matured on its lees in stainless steel for six months, with no malolactic fermentation, helping retain freshness, aromatic precision, and a clean, focused finish.

Food & Serving
This Gewürztraminer works particularly well with spicy Asian cuisine, aromatic dishes, rich seafood preparations, poultry, and soft cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not necessary, but allowing a few minutes in the glass can help the aromas open up beautifully.
