Description

Giacomo Conterno Barolo Arione 2022 is a single-vineyard Nebbiolo from the historic Barolo appellation, presented here in a magnum format that is well suited to cellaring and sharing. Arione is a vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba, a commune known for Barolos with depth and structure; this bottle brings the celebrated Conterno name to one of its distinctive sites.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C. Its Nebbiolo character should suit braised beef, roast lamb, porcini mushrooms and mature hard cheeses. Give the wine time to open: decanting for an hour or two before serving may help, particularly if enjoying it young.

Producer
Giacomo Conterno is one of Piedmont’s most renowned family wineries, with roots dating to the early 20th century. Based in Monforte d’Alba, the estate is especially associated with traditional Barolo and the highly regarded Monfortino bottling, and is respected for its contribution to the region’s reputation for age-worthy wines.
