In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with the maturity and depth expected from a well-aged vintage. On the palate, Lucente 1996 is full-bodied and silky, with generous fruit wrapped around polished tannins and a harmonious structure. Layers of vanilla and chocolate emerge on the finish, which is long and persistent. While already beautifully evolved, it still has the depth to be enjoyed for its layered complexity.

The grapes are harvested with attention to ripeness and balance, then vinified to preserve fruit purity while building structure and elegance through controlled fermentation and maturation.

This wine pairs exceptionally well with roasted red meats, game, and mature cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting if opened while still youthful in expression or if sediment is present from extended bottle aging.
