Franz Haas Sofi Müller-Thurgau 2024 is a bright, aromatic white wine from the cool alpine vineyards of Trentino-Alto Adige, crafted with the precision and elegance the house is known for. Made from 100% Müller-Thurgau, it offers a fresh, perfumed style with a distinctly refined finish—an expressive wine that reflects eight generations of family tradition and a constant pursuit of perfection.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale straw-yellow color. The nose is open and delicate, with aromas reminiscent of Muscat, fresh fruit, ripe peach, and floral notes such as yellow primrose. On the palate, it is lively, elegant, and pleasantly zesty, with a clean, aromatic profile and a very enjoyable aftertaste. The wine is best enjoyed young for its freshness and vibrant fruit, though its balanced structure gives it a graceful short-term aging window.

Production
The grapes come from Franz Haas’s vineyards in Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, where the alpine climate and cool mountain influences help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. After a short maceration to enhance aroma extraction, the must is pressed gently and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures in steel for about five months before a short period in bottle.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fresh salads, seafood, sushi, asparagus, and mildly spiced Asian dishes. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C to highlight its aromatic lift and crisp character. Decanting is not necessary.
