Franck Pascal Reliance Brut Nature 2019 is a vintage Champagne shaped by a low-intervention approach and complete absence of dosage, allowing the wine’s natural fruit, acidity and mineral character to take centre stage. Produced by one of Champagne’s leading organic and biodynamic-minded domaines, it offers a pure, finely dry expression of the 2019 vintage.
Tasting Notes
Bright and lively in the glass, with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is expected to show fresh orchard fruit, citrus zest, chalky minerality and subtle brioche-like nuances, while the palate is precise and energetic, balancing ripe fruit with pronounced freshness and a very dry, clean finish.
As a Brut Nature, the wine contains no added sugar at disgorgement, making its structure and balance particularly transparent. The 2019 vintage should offer both immediate freshness and the concentration to develop further complexity over the next several years when properly stored.
Production
Franck Pascal is known for organic and biodynamic viticulture, minimal-intervention winemaking and careful attention to soil health. Reliance is a vintage Champagne from 2019 and is released as Brut Nature, meaning no dosage is added after disgorgement. Specific vineyard composition, grape varieties and harvest details are not provided.
Food & Serving
Its dry, mineral profile makes it an excellent partner for oysters, sashimi, shellfish, grilled fish and delicate seafood dishes. It also works beautifully with fresh goat’s cheese, lightly seasoned poultry and savoury aperitif dishes. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not normally necessary, although a brief period in a Burgundy-style glass can help reveal its aromatic depth.
Producer
Franck Pascal is based in the Vallée de la Marne and has built a strong reputation for environmentally conscious Champagne production, with organic and biodynamic principles at the heart of the domaine’s work. The estate is particularly respected for expressive, terroir-driven wines that favour balance, texture and authenticity over heavy dosage or stylistic manipulation.
