Description

Flor de Caña Centenario 12 Years Old is a richly styled Nicaraguan rum, known for its mellow character and oak-aged depth. Its balance of gentle sweetness, warm spice and toasted notes makes it well suited to sipping or mixing.

Aroma & Palate
The nose brings notes of caramel and vanilla, with hints of toasted nuts and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and rounded, with flavors of dried fruit, cocoa and baking spice. The finish is warm and lingering, with oak and a touch of sweetness.

Distillation & Maturation
Made in Nicaragua from sugarcane-derived molasses, this rum is aged for 12 years in oak barrels. The extended maturation lends it its mellow texture and notes of vanilla, spice and wood.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy it neat at room temperature or over a large ice cube to let its aged character come through. It also works well in a Rum Old Fashioned, where a little bitters and a twist of orange complement its oak and caramel notes.
