Description
Figuière Première Côtes de Provence Rosé 2025 is a beautifully poised Provence rosé that captures the freshness, finesse and sunlit character the region is famous for. Made by one of the benchmark producers in Provence, it offers a refined, dry style with crisp fruit and an elegant mineral edge that makes it an easy favorite for both aperitif hour and the dinner table. Although young in vintage, it already reflects the long-standing prestige of Côtes de Provence rosé, a category that has become synonymous with quality and finesse.
Tasting Notes
Pale salmon-pink in the glass, with a bright and luminous appearance that signals freshness. The nose is delicate and inviting, typically offering notes of red berries, citrus peel, white flowers and subtle Mediterranean herbs.
On the palate, this rosé is crisp, dry and refreshing, with vibrant acidity, fine texture and clean fruit definition. Expect flavors of strawberry, raspberry, pink grapefruit and a touch of salinity on the finish. Best enjoyed for its youthful energy, though it should hold nicely over the next 1–2 years.
Production
Produced in the Côtes de Provence, a region known for its warm Mediterranean climate, limestone-rich soils and cooling coastal influences that help preserve freshness in the grapes. The fruit is typically harvested early to maintain acidity and aromatic purity, then vinified with a gentle approach to preserve the wine’s pale color and delicate fruit profile. Careful temperature-controlled fermentation helps emphasize precision, finesse and clean varietal expression.
Food & Serving
Ideal with Mediterranean dishes, grilled prawns, fresh salads, sushi, summer vegetables and light seafood starters. Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic lift. Decanting is not necessary.
