Production
Profumo di Vulcano comes from a very small vineyard of around half a hectare, planted on the northern slopes of Mount Etna at about 600 meters above sea level in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo, near Passopisciaro in Castiglione di Sicilia. The north-facing site is sheltered from the strong Sirocco winds, while the dramatic day-to-night temperature swings slow ripening and deepen aromatic complexity. These conditions, combined with the volcanic terroir, create grapes with impressive freshness, finesse and character.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile food wine that works beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled lamb, mushroom risotto, sausages, and Sicilian-inspired dishes with herbs and tomato. Serve it slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and consider a short decant of 20–30 minutes if you want to open up its aromatics and soften the structure.
