Tasting Notes

Le Oche is made from 100% Verdicchio Bianco sourced in Marche, where the variety has long been prized for producing whites with both freshness and complexity. Fattoria San Lorenzo works in an ecological, low-intervention direction, with spontaneous fermentation and 12 months of aging in concrete tanks on the fine lees, followed by 6 months in bottle. This approach helps preserve the grape’s purity while adding texture and nuance.

This Verdicchio is a natural partner for seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, risotto, and vegetable-based dishes, especially those with herbs or a touch of olive oil. It also works well with white meats and mild cheeses. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary unless you want to open it up more fully for a richer serving experience.
