Fattoria Nannì’s Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Cantore John is a vivid expression of Marche’s signature white grape, made from 100% Verdicchio Bianco and crafted in an organic style. Born in the heart of the region, in Arsicci near Apiro, it combines freshness, texture, and quiet complexity in a way that speaks clearly of its place and varietal heritage.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow in the glass, this Verdicchio shows a bright, clean appearance that hints at its freshness. The nose is delicate and inviting, with aromas of fresh grapes, apricot, broom flowers, and a subtle touch of candied lemon. On the palate, it is well structured yet generous, offering a fresh, balanced flow and a persistence built more on nuance than force. The finish is refined and savory, making it enjoyable now while still having the potential to gain added breadth and complexity over the next few years.

Production
Made from 100% Verdicchio Bianco grown in Arsicci, in the Marche region, this wine reflects the character of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC zone. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation on the skins for around 18 days without temperature control, followed by 6 months of aging in stainless steel with bâtonnage to build texture and preserve aromatic purity.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile white wine that works beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, risotto, vegetable dishes, and mild poultry preparations. Serve it well chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is not necessary; simply open and enjoy its immediate freshness and aromatic detail.
