Fattoria Lornano Commendator Enrico 2020 is a Tuscan red that brings together Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, pairing the region’s signature grape with two international varieties. The blend offers a distinctive alternative to a traditional Chianti Classico, with a ripe, structured style suited to the table.

Tasting Notes
Expect a deep ruby-red colour, with aromas of dark cherry and plum alongside hints of spice and oak. On the palate, ripe dark fruit meets Sangiovese’s freshness and firm tannins, with a balanced, persistent finish. It can be enjoyed now with a little air, or held for a few more years in good storage to allow its flavours and structure to develop.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C. It pairs well with grilled or roasted red meats, rich pasta dishes, aged cheeses and herb-seasoned lamb. Decant for 30–60 minutes before serving to let the wine open up.

Lornano is based in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico area, near Castellina in Chianti. The estate’s location connects this wine to one of the region’s best-known wine landscapes, while the blend gives it a broader Tuscan identity.
