Fattoria Lornano Chianti Classico 2022 is a Tuscan red made from Sangiovese, the grape at the heart of the region’s most celebrated wines. Chianti Classico has a history stretching back centuries, and its distinctive black-rooster seal marks wines from the historic area between Florence and Siena.

Tasting Notes
Sangiovese from Chianti Classico is often marked by bright cherry and red-berry fruit, with notes of dried herbs and spice, lively acidity and firm, food-friendly tannins. Enjoy this 2022 while its fruit is fresh, or allow it a few years in the cellar for the flavours to develop.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C with grilled or roasted meats, tomato-based pasta, aged cheeses or a hearty mushroom dish. A brief decant of 20–30 minutes can help open the wine; younger bottles can also be poured straight from the bottle.
