RosaMati 2023 is a refined Syrah rosé from Fattoria Le Pupille, created to showcase the variety’s expressive potential in the Maremma. Elegant yet characterful, it reflects both the warmth of coastal Tuscany and the personal story behind its name, which pays tribute to Elisabetta Geppetti’s beloved grandmother.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this rosé is likely to show a delicate, pale salmon hue with inviting brightness. The nose should lean toward fresh red berries, citrus peel, and subtle floral notes, while the palate is expected to be crisp, pure, and mineral-driven, with Syrah adding a little more depth and texture than a typical rosé. It should finish clean and graceful, with enough structure to make it appealing now and a short period of bottle age may bring a touch more roundness.

Production
The grapes come from a 2.5-hectare parcel near Magliano in Toscana, in the heart of Maremma, where the maritime influence and warm Tuscan sun help Syrah develop ripeness while retaining freshness. The wine is made as a pure Syrah rosé, with vinification focused on preserving aromatic precision, finesse, and the grape’s natural elegance.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. RosaMati is an excellent match for Mediterranean antipasti, grilled prawns, sushi, summer salads, fresh goat’s cheese, and lightly spiced dishes; decanting is not necessary.
