Production
Produced in the hilly commune of Montalcino in the province of Siena, this wine comes from vineyards located in a prized Tuscan terroir with elevations generally not exceeding 600 meters. The grapes are harvested between September and October, when Sangiovese reaches full ripeness, and all stages of vinification and maturation take place in the production area. By Brunello regulations, the wine must age for at least two years exclusively in oak barrels before release, with bottling carried out in dark glass and sealed with cork.

Brunello di Montalcino pairs beautifully with rich, flavorful dishes such as bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised beef, game, roast lamb, and aged hard cheeses. Serve it at around 18°C, and consider decanting for at least an hour to let the wine open fully and reveal its full aromatic range.
