Crafted from biodynamically farmed vines and shaped by Ehren Jordan’s minimalist approach, it captures both the charm of the vineyard and the balance of a classic vintage.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a graceful medium-bodied profile with the bright, polished look typical of well-made Russian River Valley wine. The nose opens with lively dark berry fruit, lifted floral perfume, and a subtle layer of spice that adds intrigue and complexity. The palate is fresh and energetic, with dark berry acidity, fine tannin maturity, and a surprisingly deep core for the style. Spice notes weave through the fruit, giving the wine extra dimension and a long, refined finish. It is drinking beautifully now, but should also reward a few years of cellaring as the structure softens and the aromatics become even more expressive.

Olivet Ranch sits in the picturesque Russian River Valley, where the cool-climate terroir helps preserve freshness while allowing Pinot Noir to develop ripeness and fragrance. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, supporting soil health and sustainability while enhancing the individuality of the site. The 2021 season was notably steady and uneventful, allowing for even fruit development and excellent tannin ripeness at relatively moderate alcohol levels.

This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roast duck, herb-crusted chicken, wild mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, or earthy vegetable dishes. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider a brief decant if opening it young to help the aromatics unfold more quickly.
