Belle Glos Eulenloch Pinot Noir 2020 is a richly styled Napa Valley Pinot Noir from the Carneros district, where coastal breezes and clay-rich soils help shape its depth and finesse. Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Joe Wagner, it offers the lush, polished character Belle Glos is known for, with a price point that makes it especially appealing for premium California Pinot lovers.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color, hinting at its generous style and concentration. The nose is inviting and layered, with aromas of blackberry, red cherry, nutmeg, vanilla, toasted coconut, and violet. The palate is smooth and expressive, unfolding with blackcurrant, strawberry, and red cherry, followed by subtle notes of pepper and vanilla. It has a silky, elegant feel and enough structure to drink beautifully now, while also offering about five years of further aging potential.

Production
Eulenloch Vineyard sits in Napa Valley’s Carneros region, where cool coastal winds moderate the warmth of the California sun and, together with clay soils, create ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. The grapes were fully destemmed before fermentation, which took place in a combination of open and closed stainless-steel tanks. The wine was then matured for 9 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new, adding spice, texture, and subtle oak complexity.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs well with roasted duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken, and dishes with earthy or lightly spiced flavors. Serve it slightly cool at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 20–30 minutes if you want to open up the aromatics and soften the oak on release.
