Production

The wine is made with restrained maceration to avoid excessive extraction and aged for around 16 months in once-used French barriques, allowing the oak to remain discreetly integrated.

Its combination of ripe fruit, freshness and structure suits truffle salami, agnolotti filled with game ragù, or a simply prepared bistecca. Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting is not essential, though pour carefully if sediment is present.
