Enrico Serafino Alta Langa Brut Oudeis Magnum 2021 is a refined classic-method sparkling wine from one of Piedmont’s most distinctive appellations. Crafted from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and aged for 42 months, it combines elegance, depth, and a beautifully persistent mousse in a striking magnum format.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow in the glass, this Alta Langa shows a fine and lasting perlage that immediately signals finesse. The nose is expressive and layered, with notes of honey, yellow flowers, white fruit, and a subtle touch of yeast and fresh bread crust. On the palate, it is rich yet precise, with ample elegance and a refreshing line of acidity. Savory, complex, and mineral-driven, it finishes long and satisfying. Thanks to its structure and extended ageing, it has excellent potential to evolve gracefully over time.

Production
The wine comes from vineyards in the heart of Piedmont, around Canale d’Alba, within the authorized Alta Langa DOCG area. Planted at an average altitude of more than 400 meters, the sites benefit from cool conditions that help preserve freshness and aromatic lift. Harvested grapes are carefully sorted on a vibrating table, chilled, and softly pressed whole in an inert environment, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. The base wines remain on their lees with regular bâtonnage before tirage and secondary fermentation, then age for 42 months before release.

Food & Serving
This sparkling wine is an excellent match for refined appetizers, seafood, shellfish, white meats, and dishes with creamy textures or delicate sauces. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses or lightly fried specialties. Serve well chilled, ideally at 6–8°C, and no decanting is needed.
